Principles of a Transformer

Transformer
Step-up Transformer - if the number of loops in the secondary coil is greater than that in the primary coil so that the induced voltage is greater than the input voltage.
Step-down Transformer - a transformer with less loops in the secondary than that in the primary.

Appliances that Requires Transformers
All appliances that is dependent on electricity is required to use transfrormer.

Relate the Current and Voltage in the Primary and Secondary coils to the Number of Loops
Since a Step-down transformer has less loop in secondary coil, so the induced voltage is lesser than the induced voltage of a Step-up transformer with
greater number of loops in the secondary coil. In the same case, as the loops decreased in the secondary coil, the induced voltage of the primary coil is greater than the secondary coil but if the loops were increased in the secondary coil, the induced voltage is greater than the input voltage.
