When I read an article about the late President Corazon Aquino, I was totally awakened when she mentioned in one of her speeches about peace that made her critics stop uttering a word during that time when she tackles about supreme sacrifice.

2010 Elections Campaign Period

Campaign Period for National Elections starts this day, February 9, 2010. The campaign was very interesting since almost all parties have their own strategies just to seek people's attention. Some candidates conduct concerts, others have their parades and rallies and there are some who have their symposiums. All of them are ready to face everything to be elected as the new set of leaders in our country. The count off starts for the most awaited part of the election. The Filipino will wait for 89 days and expect a real change after this count off.

Athletics to Politics

A sport icon rises as their event is nearly coming nor it is believed that their popularity upgraded. But at this point of time as the 2010 election is soon to be opened, is it possible that their popularity leveled up? This is a mystery thus; Detective Perry is on the way to investigate.

Well it is mainly observed by sports analyst that after saying good bye to athletics say hello to politics. Many athletes tried to enter politics depending to their popularity. A very good example is no other than the Pound-for-pound king Manny Paquiao. Last 2007 elections, he run as the congressman for the first district in General Santos, but unfortunately as he raises his world title belt in the ring he was declared K.O. in his candidacy for congressman. Likewise as he is telling always “Try and try until you succeed; You Know!” it was forecasted that he will run again as congressman in Sarangani Province.

There are many stories to describe athletes losing in a politics race however; there are lucky athletes who brought their luck in politics. But then again, in the end Politics is Like Sports, there must be a winner and a loser.

2010 Elections: Still a Mystery

These 2010 election is the most interesting, unpredictable, and the most mysterious one. This is the first time in the Philippine history to undergo an Automated Elections. This is also the toughest fight among the Presidential Candidates that the surveys are unpredictable. This is an everlasting mystery until we reach June 9, 2010. That's the end of the election period.
Case Unclosed!
